【 Intended use 】

Amies type, Stuart type, Cary-Blair type transport medium used for transport and preservation of clinical samples.

【 Classification introduction 】

  • Amies Delivery Medium:

Packing specification: 4mL/ PCS, 50 PCS/box, 12 boxes/box, 600 PCS/box.

Intended use: For the transport and preservation of clinical samples of aerobic bacteria, anaerobic bacteria, refractory bacteria, viruses and chlamydia.

Sample requirements: The collection, storage, handling and transportation of samples should be strictly aseptic to avoid contamination.

 Carrie-blair Transport medium:

Packing specification: 4mL/ PCS, 50 PCS/box, 12 boxes/box, 600 PCS/box.

Intended use: For collection, transport and preservation of clinical samples of intestinal pathogenic bacteria (Campylobacter jejuni, Vibrio cholerae, Salmonella parahaemolyticus and Shigella, etc.).

Sample requirements: The collection, storage, handling and transportation of samples should be strictly aseptic to avoid contamination.

【 Storage Conditions and expiry date 】

Store sealed at 2-25℃ for 6 months.

【 Sample requirements 】

Collection of general bacteria and caustic bacteria specimens such as throat, vagina, wound, etc., should be promptly transported for inoculation after specimen collection

【 Test method 】

1. Pull out the media storage tube with sampling swab:

2. After sampling, insert the swab back into the sample processing tube as soon as possible, so that the sample processing tube and the media storage tube are closed at the buckle, and the sampling end of the swab should completely enter the bottom of the sample processing tube.

3. After inserting the swab back into the sample processing tube, straighten the device so that one end of the culture storage tube is up;

4. Pinch the joint of the medium storage tube, unscrew the medium storage tube in a counterclockwise direction, squeeze the storage tube so that the medium inside flows into the bottom of the sample processing tube and moisten the swab sampling end

5, sample as soon as possible after the inspection, the effective bacteria preservation time of the culture medium is not less than 48 hours;

3, before use, if the product label is damaged, the swab is exposed, or the sample handling tube and the medium storage tube have been broken, please do not use.

4. Read the instructions carefully before use and use within the validity period. This sampling and transporting device is disposable, please do not reuse to avoid cross-contamination.

5, after use, the waste should be disposed of according to the hospital or environmental protection department.

6, the survival time of different strains in the transport medium is different, but the extension of the transport specimen will make the vitality of the bacteria decline, should be transferred as soon as possible.
